Isao Mizutani's "The Secret to Success at Work"
I asked Prudential of Japan Champion Isao Mizutani about the "secrets of success at work", so I summarized them.
At Prudential Life Insurance Company, the person in charge of sales is called a "life planner." He says that he thinks that having life insurance is a “start” rather than a “goal”.
Worked by Isao Mizutani, 2012 recipient of the Prudential of Japan Champion, an award given only to those who have the most outstanding achievements among the life planners who live with their customers and walk with them. We asked you how to succeed.
Q: What do you usually think about when you work?
I have always been conscious of deciding what to do and what not to do. I think that work and life are full of things that need to be done, but in fact, there are many things that need not be done. You can leave things that you can do even if you aren't yourself, or it doesn't make sense to do that in the first place.
With that in mind, my actions have been refined and more importantly my time has become available. It is said that human beings cannot overcome time, but I think that efficiency can increase time.
Of course it doesn't increase strictly. I think everyone has 24 hours a day equally. I think that 24 hours has been made more efficient and productivity has been doubled to about 48 hours. Then, it is very important to avoid the waste of 24 hours, or to not waste anything.
And when you know what is useless, you know what you really need. Leaving it lean and lean, the last thing that you have to do is left. This means that I have to do this.
On the contrary, the characteristic of a person who thinks it's not good is that it's a total flower, so I don't have time to do that. Therefore, I would like people in this situation to judge what they should do and what they should not do.
This will give you more time and allow you to rest. Resting is very important, and humans can do their best because they can rest. If you do your best, it will grow up and you will not be able to return to the original state.
We are busy with work and time, but let's stop and review our behavior again. What I thought I had to do might be what I didn't have to do.
This will free up time and will transform your work and life into a fulfilling one.
